WELCOME
FS Motorsport Finland is family based offroad trophy team. We have been racing around Finland, Estonia and Russia in last 5 years. Team consist of 8-10 people, each with their own job. Driver, co-driver and bunch of mechanics and family members. Their job is keeping you and your car going.
Most of races are driven thrue harsh enviroments, in swamps or in the desert. So whole person and vehicle maintenance takes much more effort than on track or home. There is no electricity or running water. You usually sleep in tent, after you washed and fixed the car. And after night, basecamp have to be packed on cars and moved to next location. This will be done every morning. So, it´s kind of camping. Extreme camping.
Maybe toughest trophy in the world is Ladoga Trophy in Russia. Idea of the race, is to go round of lake Ladoga. Whole event takes 8-9 days, 1200 km of deepest swamps, rivers, forrest, hills and rocks.
Route is pre-planned by race organizers and they monitor your driving with GPS. On your car you have your own computer, and you try to think fastest or easyest route thrue this quiz that they planned for you.
Last year we participated in the Ladoga Trophy, and we won the proto class. This year, who knows. There is rumor that there is big flood coming, strait to our racing route so you better have dry clothes with the car. You might take deep dive, thrue cold river just to see that you have to go back on that freezing river again. You might be hungry, only thing you have seen is breakfest, but you just keep going. You just have to deal with it..
